I am pleased to announce the Merlina Mount for the Minelab Manticore and Equinox series metal detectors. The purpose of this mount is to allow the metal detector to rest safely on steel T handle shovels without falling off. This mount installs on the shaft near the arm cuff. There are strong neodymium magnets integrated within the housing of the mount that will pull the detector onto the shovel when it becomes close. This will help prevent the detector from getting knocked off the shovel from wind or minor bumping. You can also use this to easily test if your finds are ferrous.
These mounts were created utilizing 3D printing technology and are MADE IN THE USA by me personally. They have been tested for durability and function by people that actually metal detect.

Merlina Bump Guards.
TPU. (Thermoplastic polyurethane) is a type of flexible and elastic material. Its rubber-like elasticity, resilience, and durability make it suitable for uses requiring impact-absorption and a semi soft surface. This fits the Minelab Manticore. *See notes below.
This is great for hunting beaches and land in or around rocky areas. This will help protect the side edge of your coil from chips and scratches. The bumper guard will fit tightly around your coil and coil cover to give it a sleek custom look. This was engineered for protection while keeping light weight in mind.

*This will also fit the Equinox 700 and 900 but the coil is slightly thicker than the Manticore’s coil. Very slight coil edge reveal is expected. It still adds side impact protection and style to the 700/900. It has not been tested with the Equinox 600/800 yet. Check back for updates.

Quality. These products are home crafted metal detector accessories. There will be visible lines and cosmetic imperfections due to the printing process. It is within its nature when 3D printing . It will still function and be strong like an injection molded part.
Disclaimer. I am not responsible for any damage to the detector or yourself during installation or use. Please ensure that this product does not cause any issues during installation. Over tightening and or rotating the device could possibly cause scratches or damage. There are also strong neodymium magnets in this device as well. It should be kept away from magnetic sensitive electronics and any strips that contain magnetic data. It does not interfere with the metal detectors performance but it is advised to keep the magnets away from the control pod during installation.
